Here I go! One of my favorite artists is Crumb. That's what ive been listening to, partly, while making the starts of this site.
Its everything i need it to be.
So, this blog post is impromptu. I feel a bit rushed writing it, like im just so excited to make my first blog I dont care what it is. But I do go over afterwards and edit it here and there, so it sounds better.
The day is a Friday. Today somebody i knew in high school posted some photos of their new room in college. They have a great room. its covered up with beautiful fabrics and there are fairy lights and beautiful crystals candles and objects. They have friend's artworks and pictures of friends hanging up on the wall. I wish that I had a room like that. So one day I will. (I just decided.)
I decided that i would draw a butterfly to go along with this blog post. Butterfly is my name. Ive been called butterfly all my life but i think that a lot of people have loved butterflies a lot more than me. So I think im in need of some identity points. Something about butterflies is that they're called "Papillon" in french, my name, and a moth is called a "Papillon de Nuit", a butterfly of the night. I'm a butterfly of the night, most of the time. I live in a cage. These are just a couple of the metaphors i use for my self.
I'm a writer, and I've been writing stuff I dont care about for about a year now, so im creating this site so that i can motivate myself to make things I want to share. When i say I dont care, I guess I do care, I just havent been finishing.
So what you'll see on this blog will probably be a lot of those writings, after i finalise them.
It sounds fun to make stuff, put it on a very obscure/remote area of the internet, and watch what happens. It's an open secret in the making. Here's the butterfly i made today
